Welcome to White Horse Opera based in Devizes. Now a group of members who hide behind lies and underhand ways. I have worked on the website www.whitehorseopera.co.uk for quite a few years and built it from scratch taking it from a dead, out of date site to one with all the latest information available, Not everyone made it easy, some members or cast couldn't even find the time to send in updated details. Updates where slow to come forward, and when they did they wanted them added "Yesterday".

Then October 2011 i noticed someone had been trying to take the domain name www.whitehorseopera.co.uk out of my control. I contacted my hosting company and was informed it was safe and things had been sorted out. Then, on the 3rd November 2011 i received an email from Nominet informing me the contact details etc had been changed. Someone had gone behind my back from White Horse Opera in Devizes and taken control of the website without a single word to me.

Francis Griffin was in control and had registered the domain name and from emails between him, another Opera member and myself Francis could not be bothered with it, or the payment for it. as quoted

"The best thing to do with these is to transfer them out of my account and let me people who handle the website deal with them.

This is only part of it, one of the final emails from him says, and i quote:

"but if the people who now look after the website want to move the REGISTRATION or change the password they are free to do so.

I asked about this and was informed that the domain names where mine to do with as i pleased. No one could be bothered with the website, i took it over and spent a long time building it from scratch and getting it back to the top of the search engines. I did this at a discount and spent many late hours trying to get things right.

White Horse Opera have been underhanded and sneaky in their approach in taking the domain name from me without even a word about it. They are not to be trusted. They are a group of snobs who think they can do what they like and bully anyone.

They have refused to pay for work done and this dispute is ongoing. There will be more information of other members involved soon.

The White Horse Opera is dying, interest is at an all time low because of the lack of enthusiasm from most of the people involved, even the Friends list has dropped to an all time low. Because of the influence of most of them nothing is said. If you buy tickets for events from these people you are not investing into something for Devizes, you are investing in snobbery and lies.
